About Me
Hello, I’m Kate—a qualified counsellor offering a safe, supportive space where you can be heard, understood, and gently explore what’s going on for you.

I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and I’m a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), working to their ethical framework. My training is integrative, which means I draw on different therapeutic approaches depending on what’s most helpful for you, with a strong grounding in person-centred values: respect, equality, and collaboration.

I’ve worked with clients facing a wide range of challenges—from anxiety, grief, and low self-esteem, to identity, neurodiversity, and relationship struggles. Whether you're coming to therapy as an individual or as a couple, I offer a calm and compassionate space to support you in finding clarity, confidence, and connection.

Finding the right therapist can feel like a daunting task, as we all relate to each other in different ways. It is important that you work with someone who you feel comfortable with, and you can’t always know whether this is the case from a photo and website! Please feel free to get in touch if you have questions about how therapy works, or to see if I feel like the right therapist for you. I offer a free 15-minute phone call with no pressure to commit.

I work in-person in Wantage, Oxfordshire, as well as online for those who prefer the flexibility of remote sessions.
